2024ヴィンテージのMdV善光寺竜眼は当たりです！

以前、竜眼（龍眼-りゅうがん-）種は『酸味が非常に高くスプーンを舐めているような金属感がある難しい品種』と思っていましたが、MdV善光寺竜眼はその印象を180度覆させられました。
瑞々しく爽やかな白葡萄の芳香と味わい、そしてワインにはとても大切な酸味がうっすらと骨格を支え、喉元をスーッと流れ込んでいきます。

さらに今回の2024ヴィンテージは、竜眼種特有の酸の立ち方がとっても上品！
レモンやグレープフルーツを思わせるすっきりした柑橘系の香りに、木樽やバターのようなほんのりとしたニュアンスも楽しめる仕上がりです。
またざるそばや天ぷらなどの日本食とも相性がいい仕上がりのワインです。

The 2024 vintage of MdV Zenkoji Ryugan is, quite simply, a standout.

Ryugan has often been regarded as a challenging variety—frequently associated with sharp acidity and even a somewhat metallic edge.

However, this MdV expression completely overturns that perception.

What emerges instead is a beautifully fresh and vibrant profile: delicate white-fruit aromatics, a gentle yet essential line of acidity that quietly defines the structure, and a remarkably smooth, flowing palate.

In the 2024 vintage, the acidity—so characteristic of Ryugan—appears particularly refined and elegant.

Bright citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit lead the way, complemented by subtle hints of oak and a touch of buttery nuance, adding depth without overwhelming its clarity.

This is a wine of finesse and balance, one that pairs effortlessly with Japanese cuisine—especially dishes such as chilled soba or tempura—where its purity and lift truly shine.
