そのモルトをさらにシェリー樽で熟成させた「富士ヶ嶺ピュアモルトシェリーカスクフィニッシュ」。

もともと富士ヶ嶺ピュアモルトシリーズはハイトーンなニューポッド感と、フェニティ感やサルファリー感が高いやや玄人向けのウイスキーと言われていますが、この個性的なモルトをシェリー樽で仕上げることでシェリー樽由来のレーズンのニュアンスが乗り、全体を柔らかくまとめ上げています。
またその後からはスパイスのニュアンスも見つけることができる数量限定の特別に仕上げられたピュアモルトウイスキーです。

Fujigane Pure Malt – Sherry Cask Finish

The Fujigane Pure Malt series is often appreciated by seasoned whisky drinkers for its high-toned new-make character, along with distinctive phenolic and slightly sulfury notes.

By finishing this expressive malt in sherry casks, however, those bold edges are softened by layers of raisin-like richness from the wood, bringing the whisky into a far more rounded and elegant balance.

As the palate develops, subtle hints of spice begin to emerge, revealing a limited-release pure malt crafted with both individuality and refinement.
